Jaxon and Kirk Thiemann are very excited to be helping you enjoy your stay at Marlow’s on the Kenai!
Jaxon grew up going back and forth between Idaho and Alaska. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves the beauty and adventures both states have to offer! Jaxon has had the opportunity to travel all over Alaska while playing sports in high school and college, and her favorite place has always been the Kenai Peninsula so you’ve come to the right place!
Kirk was born in Idaho and also loves the great outdoors. He was ready for a summer adventure and drove up to Alaska for a fishing job in 2012. He caught a lot of fish that year but he will tell you that the best thing he caught while in Alaska was his wife, Jaxon.
Ever since then Jaxon and Kirk have been hauling their family, of now 6, to the beauty of Alaska each year to visit Jaxon’s parents who are full time residents. Jaxon and Kirk recently made their full-time home in the land of the midnight sun in June, 2023 when they sold everything, bought a motorhome, and drove up.
Over the years they have both worked in the Alaskan commercial fishing industry on set net boats and as dock workers on the Kasilof River. Additionally, they have worked at lodges and as property managers of BnB rentals in Idaho and Alaska. They absolutely love inviting and sharing Alaska with people. They look forward to helping make your time at Marlows on the Kenai fun, comfortable, and, best yet, full of fish!
